Resident Evil’s Greatest Villains Unite in Dead by Daylight Crossover

For the first time ever, two of Resident Evil’s most notorious antagonists – Nemesis and Albert Wesker – are teaming up in Dead by Daylight’s new 2v8 game mode. This unexpected alliance brings together villains who have never crossed paths in Resident Evil lore before.

The crossover event pits Nemesis and Wesker against a group of Resident Evil heroes including Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers. While Jill has faced both villains separately in previous games, taking them on as a duo presents an unprecedented challenge.

This collaboration occurs outside of Resident Evil canon, allowing Dead by Daylight to create unique matchups without concern for series continuity. The event features a map based on the Raccoon City Police Department from Resident Evil 2 and 3. Players can also find and use the iconic green and yellow healing herbs, though killers can destroy them for a speed boost if found first.

To reduce killer queue times, the 2v8 mode includes two AI-controlled survivors on each team. The current Resident Evil crossover event runs until February 25th. Dead by Daylight fans can look forward to another major collaboration this summer with the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise.

This latest crossover continues Dead by Daylight’s trend of bringing together horror icons from across gaming and cinema. By uniting Resident Evil’s greatest foes, it offers fans a thrilling “what if” scenario they’ve likely never seen before.
